Today marks the inauguration of the 46th president of the United States of America, President Joe Biden Jr.
With more than 400,000 Americans died of Covid-19 in almost a year period, the insurrection riot attempt in the Capitol Hill in Washington led by the ex-president Donald Trump, and the most divided nation in our history when it comes to politics, policies, and governance, I have faith that this transition of power is the start of a good season for Americans.
Today also marks a historic moment that a woman and a Black-Asian descent becomes the vice president of the United States of America. The first in the history of America that a woman held the highest position in our government signifies that equality is coming in our nation. Top that off with the most diverse pick in the cabinet by President Joe Biden Jr., the world is watching how America will turn around as a global leader by example as expressed by the new president.
This day is the start of the transition of power in America that I would like to unfold before my eyes. So far, I was truly impressed with the Republicans in the senate and congress like Senator Mitch McConnel and Vice President Mike Pence for showing their support to this new president as true American leaders and patriots of our country and the constitution.
